Referral Process

• An administrator from Framingham High School contacts the student/parent and recommends a possible referral to FHS Academy at Thayer Campus.
• The student's high school administrator then contacts Mr. Hanson with the student  information and a recommendation for referral.
• The parent/student is encouraged by the high school administrator to contact Mr. Hanson to set up a referral meeting.

Any student who has not attended Framingham High School and is a resident of Framingham, must first contact the Student Registration for information about registering in the Framingham Public Schools at:

This information is then sent to Framingham High School, where it is reviewed by the School Counseling Department and Administration for placement determination.
